Alameda Centro Historico Hotel in Zamora

Alameda Centro Historico Hotel in Zamora

There are not a ton of options as far as lodgings are concerned but I will tell you about a few notable ones. The hotels that are here are quite reasonably priced and pretty clean. If you would like to get the most bang for your buck you will want to check the availability at Alameda Hotel which is located on Corregidora which is right near the center of town. The rooms here have nice furnishings, are very spacious and really clean. The beds are a good size, there is AC, cable and the single person rooms go for 175 pesos a night, double person rooms go for 215 pesos, triple person rooms go for 260 pesos, and they even have four people rooms for 305 pesos per night. They only accept cash as payment. There is another option called Hotel Nacionel which is located also on Corregidora and also in close proximity to the center of town. The rooms here are comfortable and a bit small. The rooms do come with their own private bathrooms and if you walk up to the fourth floor you will be able to have a view of the city from the rooftop terrace. The single rooms go for 175 pesos a night, and the double person rooms go for 300 pesos a night. They only accept cash as payment.

There are not a ton of restaurants either but the ones they do have are quite delicious and filling. If you love sweets and candies you will be in heaven as there is one on just about every corner in town. If you are a fan of pizza you will want to check out Buona Pizza which is located on Madero and that is the road that lies south of the center. The decor is not very appealing but the food here is out of this world. You may think you have died and gone to heaven. Here you can buy pizzas for around 60 pesos, hamburgers for 42 pesos, and several delicious pasta dishes go for 58 pesos per plate. They are open every day from 10am-9pm and they only accept cash as payment. If you desire more of an atmosphere you should head over to the Pantera Rosa which means Pink Panther. Here you will see the waiters and waitresses are decked out in all pink outfits and the restaurant is decorated in pink panther decor. The dishes here are quite extravagant and include items like beef and chicken dishes all done up how you would like them and they go for around 90 pesos a dish. They are open every day from 10am-10pm and they only accept cash as payment. One other notable area you should try if you are more interested in street food like tacos or burgers you should head to the Morelos Mercado next to the center of town. Here you will pay around 30 pesos per item and they are open every day from 8am-8pm and they only accept cash as payment.
